Your Instructor TOM GALLI:
Tom worked professionally doing television production for Time Warner Cable in Louisiana from 1993 through 1997, then abandoned the Deep South and followed his wife to Hawaii. After freelancing around the island for a couple of years, he decided to settle down, taking over the training department for Olelo Community Television while also teaching evening and weekend classes for Chaminade University’s AUP program. In 2003, Tom moved to Chaminade as a full-time instructor, where he teaches classes in video production, oversees the online radio station, and supervises the Communication Department’s computer lab and inventory of cameras, both still and video. He has conducted an editing class for the Academy for Creative Media at UH Manoa and done workshops on Adobe Premiere for Pacific New Media, a part of the UH Outreach College.
