Born and raised on Oahu, Kainoa received a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Hawai’i. After exceeding academically, Kainoa deepened his hands on production experience while working for Oiwi TV on Ohau. Kainoa's distinguished project achievements include the production of the nationally-aired PBS documentary “Ancestral Ink – Keone Nunes”.
