ELIZABETH RIAN
Elizabeth is an actor and writer originally from Honolulu. Her network credits include Jane The Virgin, Magnum PI, Lifetime, Hallmark and more. She recently appeared in Justin Chon’s Sundance favorite, Jamojaya. She is classically trained, with a BFA in Theatre Performance from Chapman University. Her first short film, Wasteland, premiered at the Los Angeles Women in Film Festival and was accepted into the California Women’s Film Festival and the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. Her most recent film, Fair, premiered as a finalist for best comedy short at the People of Passion Film Festival in Australia, and was Director’s Choice at the Venice Intercultural Film Festival in May 2024. Fair was produced and shot entirely on location (and on budget) in Honolulu, with a predominantly AAPI cast and crew. Elizabeth is a two time fellow of the ‘Ohina Labs in Hawai’i, and was a recent fellow of the 2023 Wahine in Film mentorship program.
