ATHENA TAITINGFONG
Athena Taitingfong is Chamoru and Mexican, from Kāneʻohe and Kailua, O‘ahu. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon, with minors in Political Science and Anthropology. Athena has found interest in a variety of roles from research assistant to statistics student teacher. Currently, she is the Content & Engagement Coordinator at Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC), where she creates and manages content for social media, promotes PIC’s mission and programs, and supports community outreach. She’s also branching out into freelance work, focusing on social media management and photo and video editing. When Athena isn't working, you can find her unwinding through gaming on her PC, digital drawing, reading, sewing, and spending time at the beach.
