"God is A Dog" an official HFC first cycle project has announced the following Casting Call:
CASTING CALL
"God Is A Dog" is a short film about the love and connection between a man and a dog. The man, who dies
half way through, symbolizes our weakness and vulnerability. The dog on the other hand is, as the title suggests,
God and his promise to wait for us, even in death.
SHOOT DATE: March 22, 2015
CALL TIME: 8:00am
LOCATION: Kualoa Beach Park)
ALL TYPES WILL BE CAST:
We are now casting extras for the funeral scene. The funeral will be a surfer "paddle out". This means that it takes place in
the ocean and that all attendees will be sitting on surfboards in a circle. We are casting all ages, ethnicity, and all sizes.
We particularly need people over the age of 45 (even much older, so please forward this to anybody you think might be interested).
Please be able to swim and have a bathing suit and rash guard/t-shirt with minimal logos and in muted colors: (IE: light
greys/blues/peaches/pinks/rust/brown. NO dark or vibrant colors: IE: NO black, dark blue/grey/red/brown/fluorescent, etc.)
If you have a surfboard (or a few) please plan to bring them along.
This is a non-union, non-paying gig. You will be fed and given credit in the film.
